The appeals of the defendant's (Hajduk's - ed.) defense lawyers against the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court of March 6, 2025, shall be dismissed. The defense lawyers shall be given a period of 5 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the ruling to eliminate the shortcomings of their appeals, indicated in the motivational part of the ruling.

– the decision states.

Igor Haiduk is a suspect in the EBK database.

We remind you that NABU and SAPO reported the suspicion to the Chairman of the Ternopil Regional Council Mykhailo Holovko, the First Deputy Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil RMA Ihor Demyanchuk and Ihor Haiduk, respectively.

According to the investigation, they expressed persistent requests to a local businessman and a volunteer to provide a total of more than UAH 2.4 million for signing certificates of completed works on the construction and repair of infrastructure facilities by the municipal enterprise of the Ternopil Regional Council, as well as for making payments for the debt of the Ternopil RMA to the LLC for work that has already been completed and accepted in 2022.

Such illegal actions of officials were committed despite the fact that the entrepreneur was engaged in volunteer activities and helped the defense forces of Ukraine in every possible way. The head of the Ternopil regional council and two deputy heads of the Ternopil RMA were detained "red-handed" immediately after they received part of the agreed funds, namely over 600 thousand UAH.

We also previously reported that the HACC seized another $1.1 million in the Komarnytskyi case.
