An official of the territorial procurement and social support center suspected of bribery was detained in Lviv. According to the investigation, he tried to bribe a colleague in order to avoid bringing his subordinate to justice.

This was reported in the press service of the Lviv specialized prosecutor's office in the field of defense of the Western region.

The investigators found out that a 44-year-old official of the district TCP tried to bribe a colleague authorized to carry out the inspection:

"For 2,000 US dollars, the suspect tried to "bribe" the person authorized to carry out the inspection, so that she would not prosecute his subordinate - a senior soldier who was at the workplace in a state of intoxication."

The official was detained when he handed over the entire amount of the bribe. He was remanded in custody with the right to post bail.

The sanction of the article is from 4 to 8 years of imprisonment with or without confiscation of property.
