The High Anti-Corruption Court will interrogate one of the witnesses in a closed session in the criminal proceedings on charges of MP Serhiy Kuzminykh of abuse of influence.

The request of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to conduct the interrogation of a witness in a manner that makes it impossible to identify him/her is granted. Conduct the interrogation of a witness in a closed court session using technical means from another room, including outside the courtroom, or in another manner that makes it impossible to identify him/her and provides the parties to the criminal proceedings with the opportunity to ask questions and listen to the answers to them.

Earlier, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office tried to personally serve the indictment on People's Deputy Kuzminykh. However, he refused and threw the documents out of the car window. Despite this, the indictment was sent to the court.

As is known, the HACC released him on bail of 49,600 UAH with the following obligations: to report a change of residence, to refrain from communicating with witnesses, and to hand over his foreign passports for safekeeping.

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO have exposed the People's Deputy of Ukraine for receiving illegal benefits from SN Kuzminy. According to the investigation, he received 558 thousand hryvnias for assisting in the conclusion of contracts between private companies and a hospital in Zhytomyr region.

Earlier, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau reported on the suspicion of Serhiy Bryndaka in inciting the accused judge of the Kyiv District Court of the city of Odessa, Lyudmila Saltan.
