The Great Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) was pleased with the position of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and praised the decision to confiscate the assets of the Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov for an amount of over 2 billion hryvnia.

The intercessor of the Minister of Justice, Inna Bogatykh, spoke about this.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine gained a victory from VAKS: Usmanov’s assets worth over UAH 2 billion were tied up at the expense of the state

Before the confiscation of assets, the confiscated ore products totaled over 165 thousand tons, the value of which is estimated at over 2 billion hryvnias, as well as 100% of the statutory capital of Peter-Service Ukraine LLC - an IT company, which was previously under the control of Usmanov.

As Bogatykh considered, the constriction of the assets of Russian oligarchs, such as Usmanov, is a systemic means for updating justice and eliminating the harm caused by Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
