Anti-corruption court orders attendance of former border guard officer
The High Anti-Corruption Court ordered the former head of the Solomonovo Border Service Department of the Chop Border Detachment of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Service, and now a serviceman of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Oleksandr Marushchak, to be brought to the hearing on September 3 in a bribery case.
As indicated, Marushchak is undergoing rehabilitation at the Main Military Medical Clinical Center of the State Border Guard Service. At the same time, his diagnosis is not a serious illness and the accused can participate in the hearings via video conference. Therefore, the judges decided to apply coercion to him.
To summon the accused (Marushchak) to court hearings, which will be held on 03.09.2026 at 10:30, 18.09.2026 at 13:00, 09.10.2026 at 14:00, 23.10.2026 at 12:00 and 05.11.2026 at 10:00 in the premises of the High Anti-Corruption Court
The court also ordered the National Anti-Corruption Bureau to ensure Marushchak's participation in the meeting using its own or their technical means, if he is undergoing treatment and cannot leave the healthcare facility.

Previously, the HACC suspended the consideration of the lawsuit of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office for the confiscation of the assets of Oleksandr Marushchak, the former head of the Solomonovo Border Service Department of the Chop Border Detachment of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine, in connection with his mobilization.
