HACC Extends Duties for Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Deputy Head

The higher anti-corruption court extended until December 10 the period of validity of the duties assigned to the suspended deputy chairman of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Council, Vladyslav Kutsenko. NABU and SAP suspect him of providing over UAH 650,000 in illegal benefits to the director of the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine.

Vladyslav Kutsenko is a member of the EBK database.

As you know, the court arrested Kutsenko with an alternative bail of UAH 3 million. These funds were deposited for him and he was released from the pretrial detention center under the following obligations: to arrive at the first request; not to leave the territory of Ukraine without permission; to report a change of residence and/or place of work; refrain from communication with other suspects in this criminal proceeding and witnesses; deposit foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet.

Later, the bracelet was removed from him and his foreign passports were returned. So the SAP prosecutor asked to extend the remaining duties.

"The request of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to extend the period of validity of the duties assigned to the suspect (Kutsenko - ed.) in criminal proceedings is to be granted. To extend to the suspect the period of validity of the obligations provided for in Part 5 of Art. 194 of the Criminal Code, from 00:00 on October 10, 2024 to December 10, 2024, inclusive," the decision reads.

We also wrote that People's Deputy Iryna Kormyshkina was released on the bail of Arahamia and Kim.

In addition, "EBK" wrote that Zelensky signed a decree on the liquidation of MSEC after the decision of the National Security Council.
