The higher anti-corruption court extended until January 3, 2025 the term of office of the people's deputy Anatoliy Gunko, whom the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses of fraudulently acquiring 85 thousand dollars and inciting bribery.

Earlier, the court chose a preventive measure for Gunko in the form of detention with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 30 million, which was later reduced to UAH 10 million. After posting bail, the People's Deputy was released from custody, but the following responsibilities were assigned to him: to appear before the court at each summons, to inform the court about a change of place of residence and work, as well as to hand over foreign passports.

The prosecutor of the SAP again applied for the extension of these duties, which the court granted, extending the term until January 3, 2025.
