HACC Extends Obligations for AMCU Head Kyrylenko
The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Pavlo Kyrylenko, until October 27. NABU and SAPO accuse him of illegal enrichment of UAH 72.1 million, as well as of false declarations.
As is known, the anti-corruption court refused to arrest Kyrylenko and released him on bail of UAH 30.28 million . He was also given the following obligations: to appear upon first demand; to report a change of residence; not to leave Kyiv without permission; to refrain from communicating with witnesses; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.
Later, Kyrylenko was removed from the electronic bracelet and allowed to move freely around Ukraine. The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office again requested to extend the remaining duties for another two months.
The prosecutor's motion is granted. The term of the duties assigned to the accused (Kyrylenko - ed.) is extended until October 27, 2026.
The court also extended the term of the duties imposed on Kyrylenko's wife Alla until October 27. She has the same list of obligations, except for surrendering her passport.
Pavlo Kyrylenko is a suspect in the EBK database.
