HACC extended Zadorozhnyi’s obligations

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court extended until May 12 the term of the duties imposed on People's Deputy Mykola Zadorozhny in the case of his organization of receiving illegal benefits.
As is known, on July 17, the anti-corruption court applied a preventive measure in the form of a bail of UAH 3.028 million to People's Deputy Zadorozhny. He was also assigned the following obligations: to appear upon each request; to report a change of residence and/or work; not to leave Kyiv and Kyiv region without permission; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.
Later, the electronic bracelet was removed from the MP and restrictions on movement within Ukraine were lifted. Therefore, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested that the remaining duties be extended for another two months.
The motion to extend the term of the duties assigned to the suspect is granted. The suspect's term of duties is extended for two months - until May 12, 2025 inclusive, but within the period of the pre-trial investigation.
Let us remind you that Mykola Zadorozhny is a person involved in the EBK base.
It was also previously reported that the Supreme Court of Ukraine extended the investigation period until April 15 on Zadorozhny's suspicion of demanding an illegal benefit and organizing its receipt.
