On October 12, a preparatory meeting was held at the HACC in the case of the former head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional MSEC

Tetyana Krupa, as well as her husband Volodymyr and son Oleksandr. The court rejected the defense's request for the case to be considered by a panel of judges, and also gave the participants until October 19 to submit written motions.

This was reported by a correspondent of Suspilny from the courtroom.

According to her, the first motion concerned the consideration of the case by a panel of three judges. It was filed by the accused Tetyana Krupa and her defense attorney Tetyana Kostyuk.

The court dismissed the petition. The reason was that, according to the court's decision, there are no grounds provided for by law in this case for its consideration by a panel of three judges, since the accusation does not concern particularly serious crimes.

The correspondent reported that the second question concerned the possible conclusion of a plea agreement.

The judge asked Tetyana Krupa, her son Oleksandr, and her husband Volodymyr whether they had signed such an agreement. All three answered that they had not. They had not been offered such an agreement. The defendants' defense attorneys confirmed this information.

According to the correspondent, defense attorney Poshyvanyuk filed a motion to postpone the court hearing, as he is unable to join it online from shelter. The judge left the motion without consideration. Before that, the court provided all participants with the opportunity to join the hearing from shelter using court electronic devices and Wi-Fi.

Participants can also use their own technical means to participate in the video conference. Previously, defense attorneys who joined the hearing from shelter expressed dissatisfaction with the conditions of their stay there. In particular, they complained about the ventilation, as well as the quality of the video and audio connection. Currently, the court is considering the issue of continuing the hearing without the participation of Poshivanyuk's defense attorney

The correspondent reported that lawyer Stanislav Pelyuk orally requested to postpone the hearing. The court ruled to continue the hearing.

According to the correspondent, the court set a deadline of October 19, 2026 for all participants in the criminal proceedings to submit written statements and motions to the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) regarding the adoption of decisions provided for in Part 3 of Article 314 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The defense repeatedly filed statements and motions directly during court hearings, and sometimes after the court had already considered the issues raised, which required additional time and affected the speed of the case.

— explained judge Denys Kovalenko.

The judge noted that he had taken into account the time of entry of individual defense attorneys into the case and the need to ensure the rights of all participants in the proceedings. He believed that the established time limit was sufficient for the preparation and submission of relevant documents. The judge adjourned the hearing.

Participants need to be given time to prepare statements and motions, and to take into account the conditions in which defense attorneys participate in the hearing remotely from a shelter. The conditions in the shelter do not fully correspond to the opportunities that a courtroom should provide for the exercise of procedural rights.

— the judge explained.

At the same time, Judge Denys Kovalenko noted that the participants can see and hear each other and can participate in the hearing via video conference. The next court hearing was scheduled for October 21, 2026.

Tetyana Krupa and her son Oleksandr are suspects in the EBK base.

We previously reported that the former heads of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC Krupi continued their duties.
