HACC Appeals Chamber Schedules Hearing in Former Odesa Judge’s Case

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing on November 23 to consider appeals against the verdict sentencing the former acting head of the Kominternivskyi District Court of Odessa Oblast, Pavlo Dobrov, to 7 years in prison for receiving almost 50,000 hryvnias of illegal gain.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found Pavlo Dobrov, the former head of the Kominternivskyi District Court of Odessa region, guilty of receiving illegal benefits. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison, with a 3-year ban on holding positions in state and local government bodies, and confiscation of all property owned by him. Dobrov himself and his defense lawyers filed appeals against this verdict.
