HACC Acquits Judge in Onyshchenko’s Case image

The higher anti-corruption court acquitted the judge of the Commercial Court of Kharkiv region, Tetyana Denysiuk, of abuse charges related to the gas case of former People's Deputy Oleksandr Onishchenko. This was reported by the HACC press service, without mentioning the name of the person involved.

According to "Word and Deed", it is about Denysyuk.

On November 27, the panel of judges of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry found the judge of the Economic Court of the Kharkiv region innocent of the criminal offense provided for in part. 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The verdict can be appealed in the appeal procedure within thirty days from the day of its announcement by filing an appeal through the VAKS to the Appeals Chamber of the HACC

Tetyana Denisyuk is a figurehead of the EBK database.

As you know, the anti-corruption court acquitted judge Denisyuk of abuse of office. Also, the court closed the episode about the delivery of a knowingly unjust decision due to the decriminalization of the crime. However, the Appeals Chamber of the HACC overturned the acquittal and ordered a retrial of the case in the court of first instance.

Earlier we wrote that the High Anti-Corruption Court extended until January 21 the term of office of Serhiy Totskyi, the former director of the security department of PrJSC "National Energy Company "Ukrenergo".

It also became known that the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left former People's Deputy Volodymyr Vecherk under arrest in absentia.
