HACC approves plea deal with ex-head of Ukrecoresursy
The High Anti-Corruption Court has approved a plea agreement with the former director of the state-owned enterprise Ukrekoresursy, Dmytro Radionov. He was released on probation for 3 years, and the defendant himself will compensate for part of the damages.
As indicated, Radionov has pledged to plead guilty and cooperate with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. He will also voluntarily transfer UAH 1 million to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as compensate another UAH 1 million for the damage caused.
To approve the plea agreement concluded between the prosecutor of the SAPO, on the one hand, and the accused (Radionov), on the other hand. To find (Radionov) guilty of committing a criminal offense under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. To impose on (Radionov) the punishment agreed upon by the parties to the agreement in the form of imprisonment for a term of 7 years with deprivation of the right to hold positions related to the performance of organizational and managerial or administrative and economic functions for a term of 3 years. On the basis of Part 2 of Article 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, to release (Radionov) from serving the main punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 7 years, if he does not commit a new criminal offense during the 3-year probationary period and fulfills the duties assigned to him
To fulfill its obligations, the court has already transferred UAH 744,300 in collateral for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It was previously reported that the High Anti-Corruption Court has separated the materials regarding the former director of the state-owned enterprise Ukrekoresursy, Dmytro Radionov, into a separate proceeding, because he agreed to a plea agreement.
