The Supreme Court of Ukraine extended the detention of the former head of the Lviv Regional Commercial Court Mykhailo Yurkevich until June 15, but reduced his alternative bail from UAH 8 million to UAH 6 million.

Earlier it became known that the anti-corruption court extended the arrest of Yurkevich and left his bail unchanged at UAH 12 million. However, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court reduced the bail to UAH 8 million . The NABU detective and the SAPO prosecutor asked the court to extend the arrest of the suspect and leave him with a bail of UAH 8 million.

The motion is partially granted. The suspect's detention period is extended by 60 days, but within the pre-trial investigation period. Bail is set at UAH 6,000,000 for the suspect.

If bail is posted, Yurkevich will be required to: appear upon first demand; not leave the Lviv region without permission; report any change in his place of residence and/or place of work; refrain from communicating with other suspects in criminal proceedings, as well as other persons; surrender his foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet.
