The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider the appeal of the defense lawyer of People's Deputy Oleksandr Yurchenko for 9 years of imprisonment.

As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found People's Deputy Oleksandr Yurchenko guilty of receiving unlawful benefit. He was sentenced to 9 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions for a period of 3 years with confiscation of property. The court also left unchanged the preventive measure in the form of a bail of 3 million UAH and additionally imposed on Yurchenko the obligation to wear a bracelet until the verdict enters into legal force.

Open appeal proceedings on the appeals of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the defense attorney for the accused (Yurchenko) against the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court of September 11, 2026
