Odesa region DTCP deputy to stand trial over $3,000 bribe

The deputy head of one of the district territorial recruitment and social support centers (DTCP and SS) in the Odessa region is accused of accepting a bribe. The case has been referred to court.
According to the investigation, the head of the mobilization work accounting department, the deputy head of one of the departments of the Odessa District RTCC and SP, who was temporarily acting as the head of the center, demanded $3,000 from the conscript. For this money, the man was promised to be removed from the list of persons wanted for violating the rules of military accounting.
The money was transferred in parts through a subordinate. After receiving 2.5 thousand dollars and fulfilling the promised actions, law enforcement officers detained the serviceman. This happened in July 2025. He was removed from his post, and the court chose a preventive measure - detention with the right to post bail in excess of 1.2 million UAH.
The official is charged under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - receiving unlawful benefit by an official holding a responsible position. The sanction of the article provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property and a ban on holding certain positions.
The indictment has already been sent to court, the police said.

In addition, it recently became known that a former employee of the Lviv Region State Tax Service organized a scheme to evade mobilization by involving an employee of one of the district TCP .
