HACC Appeals Upholds Maksymenko’s Suspicion image

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has left the former deputy head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, Natalya Maksymenko, under suspicion for extorting and receiving $40,000 in illegal benefits. Her case is already being heard by the High Anti-Corruption Court.

As is known, the anti-corruption court refused to overturn Maksymenko's suspicions. Her defense attorney filed an appeal against this decision.

The decision of the investigating judge of the HACC dated June 23, 2025, which refused to satisfy the defense attorney's complaint on the report (Maksimenko - ed.) on suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, within the framework of criminal proceedings, shall be left unchanged, and the defense attorney's appeal shall be dismissed.
