Ex-Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy granted bail image

The High Anti-Corruption Court applied a preventive measure in the form of a bail of UAH 211,960 to former Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Volodymyr Topchiy.

Partially grant the motion. Apply to the suspect (Topchiya - ed.) a preventive measure in the form of a bail in the amount of UAH 211,960, which must be paid either by the suspect himself or by another individual or legal entity (pledgee) no later than five days from the date of application of the preventive measure to the deposit account of the High Anti-Corruption Court

Topchiy was also given the following obligations: to appear upon every request; not to leave the city of Kyiv without permission; to report any change in his place of residence and/or work; to refrain from communicating with witnesses regarding the circumstances set forth in the written notice of suspicion and to surrender his foreign passports.

We will remind, recently the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office reported suspicions to the former Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, as well as the former Deputy Head of the District State Administration. According to media reports, this is former Deputy Minister Volodymyr Topchiy, who previously held the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Technical Policy in the Agrarian and Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
