The higher anti-corruption court applied a preventive measure in the form of a bail of UAH 1 million to the lawyer Tetyana Berezhnaya, who is suspected by NABU and SAP of providing $400 in illegal benefits to Oleksandr Boyarskyi, the judge of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky City District Court of the Odesa Region.

Such a decision was made by HACC on September 12, "Slovo i Dilo" reports.

As indicated, lawyer Berezhna is suspected of offering and providing an illegal benefit of $400 to Judge Boyarsky through an intermediary. These funds were transferred to him for the adoption of a positive decision in the case of establishing the fact of permanent outside care for a person due to a health condition, which is the basis for a postponement of mobilization. Judge Boyarsky is the decision of the resolution.

"The request to apply a preventive measure to the suspect (Berezhny - ed.) should be granted. Apply to the suspect a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of UAH 1,000,000," the decision reads.

She was also assigned the following duties: not to leave the Odesa region without permission; to report a change of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communication with the persons involved in the case; deposit foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet. This decision was left unchanged by the Appeals Chamber of HACC in its decision of September 25.

NABU and SAP informed about the suspicion of the judge of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky City District Court of Odesa Oblast Oleksandr Boyarskyi.

According to the investigation, the scheme provided for the issuance of court decisions on establishing the place of residence of a minor child with the father, so that he would use such a decision as a basis for going abroad with her. "Clients" were sought in groups on social networks, and the cost of each judgment was between 1,500 and 3,500 US dollars.

Detectives established that during 2022-2023, more than 1,000 similar decisions were made in the specified district court. At the same time, there were cases of men traveling abroad unaccompanied by a child, determining the child's place of residence in the temporarily occupied territory, forging procedural documents from plaintiffs, and interfering with the system of automated distribution of court cases.

In July 2024, NABU and SAP informed five more persons involved in the case of Oleksandr Boyarsky, judge of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky City District Court of Odesa Region, of suspicion of bribery for issuing a decision on permission to leave the country for a conscripted man.
