HACC Appeals Chamber Upholds Lawyer Fedynyak’s Bail

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has left unchanged the preventive measure in the form of a bail of UAH 242,240 with the imposition of duties, applied to lawyer Ruslan Fedyniak. NABU and SAPO suspect him of inciting a citizen to provide an illegal benefit to a judge of one of the district courts of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
As is known, the anti-corruption court set bail at UAH 242,240 for lawyer Fedinyak. He was also given the following obligations: to appear upon every request; not to leave the Ivano-Frankivsk region without permission; to report a change of residence; to refrain from communicating with witnesses; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet. The suspect himself filed an appeal against this decision.

Previously, employees of the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police, together with the counterintelligence of the SSU, detained lawyer Yuriy Panchuk and his accomplice in Lviv for a bribe of $2,000 .
