The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled for August 20 the consideration of appeals against the verdict, by which former deputy of the Odessa Regional Council Mykola Derevyanko and director of LLC "Ukrmezhbud" Volodymyr Gerasymchuk were found guilty of abuse of office. They were sentenced to 4.5 and 4 years in prison, respectively.

As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found former deputy of the Odessa Regional Council Derevyanko and the head of a private company Gerasymchuk guilty. The former deputy was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison and banned from holding certain positions for 3 years. The company director was sentenced to 4 years in prison with a ban on holding certain positions for 2.5 years.

To complete the preparation for the appeal hearing on the appeals of the accused (Derevyanko and Gerasymchuk) and his defense attorney against the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court of 12.06.2026 adopted based on the results of the consideration of the criminal proceedings. To schedule the appeal hearing in an open court session in the premises of the AC HACC at 15:00 on August 20, 2026
