Appeal to review acquittal of ex-MP Dolzhenkov

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing for June 3 to consider an appeal against the verdict acquitting former MP Oleksandr Dolzhenkov of charges of misappropriating 700,000 hryvnias in compensation for renting housing in Kyiv.

As is known, the anti-corruption court found former People's Deputy Dolzhenkov not guilty and acquitted him due to the absence of elements of a criminal offense in his actions. The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the defendant's defense attorney filed appeals against this decision .
