Appeals Chamber upheld detention of Lviv Commercial Court judge

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has left Vasyl Artimovych, a judge of the Commercial Court of Lviv Region, in custody. His bail of UAH 6 million has not been changed.

The Administrative Court of the Supreme Court of Justice of Ukraine considered the appeals of the defense and prosecution against the decision of the investigating judge of the Supreme Court of Justice of Ukraine dated 05.02.2025 on the extension of the term of the preventive measure for the former head of the Lviv Regional Economic Court in the form of detention. As an alternative to detention, the investigating judge determined the payment of a 6 million UAH bail. Based on the results of the consideration, the panel of judges of the Administrative Court of the Supreme Court of Justice dismissed the appeals of the parties, and the decision of the investigating judge of the Supreme Court of Justice remained unchanged
As a reminder, earlier the HIgh Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of the judge of the Commercial Court of Lviv Region, Vasyl Artimovich, until March 9, but reduced his bail from UAH 10 million to UAH 6 million as an alternative.
