The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the term of office of Oleh Shvydky, a deputy of the Borshchahiv village council of the Buchan district of the Kyiv region, until June 1.

Earlier, the anti-corruption court released MP Shvydky on personal recognizance. He is obliged to: appear at the first summons; not leave Ukraine without permission; report any change in his place of residence and work; refrain from communicating with suspects in this criminal proceeding and witnesses, and also hand over his foreign passports.

The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office once again requested to extend these duties for another two months.

The motion of the SAPO prosecutor to extend the term of the duties imposed on the suspect (Shvydky - ed.) in criminal proceedings is granted. The suspect's term of duties stipulated in Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code is extended until June 1, 2025 inclusive, but not longer than the term of the pre-trial investigation.
