Village council deputy in Kyiv region has duties extended

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of Oleh Shvydky, a deputy of the Borshchahiv village council of the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region, until April 4. The NABU and the SAPO suspect him in the case of the seizure of over 1,200 hectares of land in Pushcha-Vodytsa and Fastiv in the Kyiv region.
As is known, the anti-corruption court released MP Shvydky on personal recognizance. He is obliged to: appear at the first summons; not leave Ukraine without permission; report any change in his place of residence and work; refrain from communicating with suspects in this criminal proceeding and witnesses, and also hand over his foreign passports.
The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office again requested to extend these duties for another two months.
The request of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to extend the term of the duties assigned to the suspect (Shvydky - ed.) in criminal proceedings is granted. To extend the term of the duties of the suspect (Shvydky - ed.) provided for in Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code until April 4, 2025 inclusive.
Earlier, the Supreme Court of Ukraine extended the term of office of the suspended head of the department for combating smuggling and customs violations of the Rivne customs, Andriy Dzyuba, until April 6. NABU and SAPO suspect him of bribery.
The court also extended the term of office of former Supreme Court Chief Justice Vsevolod Knyazev until April 12. The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office accuses him of receiving $1.8 million in illegal benefits.
