Ex-deputy prosecutor in Zaporizhzhia gets duties extended

The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the term of office of the former deputy head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, Natalia Maksymenko, until August 10.
As is known, the deputy prosecutor of the Zaporizhia region was released from custody after posting bail under the following obligations: to appear upon first demand; not to leave the Zaporizhia region without permission; to report any change in her place of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communicating with a number of persons; to hand over her international passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.
Later, the bracelet was removed from her, the obligations to arrive on demand and not to leave the Zaporizhia region without permission were canceled, and therefore the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested that the remaining obligations be extended.
The prosecutor's motion for the extension of procedural obligations shall be granted. The term of the obligations stipulated in Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine shall be extended until August 10, 2026 inclusive for the accused (Maksimenko).
Let us remind you that Natalia Maksymenko is a figurehead of the EBK base.
It was previously reported that the SAPO has sent criminal proceedings to court on suspicion of Natalia Maksymenko extorting and receiving $40,000 in illegal gain.
