Court extends detention of chemical plant director
The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of Leonid Shyman, the general director of the state-owned enterprise Pavlograd Chemical Plant, until August 1 and left the bail amount of UAH 21.63 million unchanged in criminal proceedings for the embezzlement of UAH 102.45 million.
As is known, the anti-corruption court extended Shyman's arrest for another two months and left his bail unchanged at UAH 21.63 million. Due to the approaching end date of the arrest, the detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau again requested to extend the detention for two months.
The motion is granted. To extend the term of the preventive measure applied to the suspect (Shyman), in the form of detention in a pre-trial detention facility for 60 days, i.e. until August 1, 2026 inclusive, but within the period of the pre-trial investigation. To set bail for the suspect in the amount of UAH 21,632,000
