In Sumy region, an employee of one of the DTCPs and SSs demanded a bribe for removing a man from the register of military draft evaders.

As law enforcement officers noted, in November 2024, the citizen learned about his inclusion in the register of tax evaders, after which he contacted an employee of the DTCP and SS, who offered assistance for a reward.

For removing a citizen from the system, without actually delivering it to the DTCP and the SS, the official demanded $600. After transferring the illegal benefit, the employee assured that the issue had been resolved. Subsequently, the official suggested that the citizen produce a military registration document, which would allow him to receive a reservation from mobilization without going through mandatory procedures, in particular a medical commission or serving a summons. For this "service" he demanded $800

— the police said.

During the transfer of the second part of the illegal benefit, the police detained an employee of the DTCP and SPS He was declared a suspect. Law enforcement officers continue the investigation.
