Court Seizes UAH 18 Million from Bucha TCP Head

The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has seized cash seized from the house of Leonid Vykochko, head of the Buchansky Territorial Procurement and Support Center. This is stated in the court's ruling.
On August 15, 2024, the SBU detained the leaders of the Buchanan and Boryspil TCPs. They were suspected of obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and corruption (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 114-1, Part 3 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The head of the Buchanan TCP is suspected of providing the head of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with an illegal benefit and obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during martial law, in a prior conspiracy by a group of individuals.
The SBI press service reported that conscripts were offered to forge documents stating that they were unfit for military service due to health reasons, and the cost of such services was $37,000 per person.
During a search of the house of the head of the TCP in Bucha, the following were found: 432,300 US dollars, 5,500 Euros, 49,000 hryvnias, and two gold bars weighing 10 grams each, the origin of which the owner could not explain.
The value of these assets is equivalent to about 18 million hryvnias. The discrepancy with the official's official income is 14 million hryvnias, and he has now been charged with illegal enrichment (Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The prosecutor requested the seizure of these assets to ensure their future confiscation.
It was previously reported that the suspects kept most of the seized cash in hiding places under the floor and behind the wall paneling of their apartments.
As a reminder, the police exposed an orthopedic traumatologist from the Drohobych district municipal hospital for accepting a $2,000 bribe .
