MP Gunko appeals sentence to Supreme Court
The Supreme Court will consider an appeal against the verdict sentencing People's Deputy Anatoliy Hunko to 4 years in prison for abuse of influence.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found People's Deputy Anatoliy Gunko guilty and sentenced him to 7 years in prison with a 3-year ban on holding certain positions and confiscation of all property. Later, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court reduced the sentence to 4 years in prison and arrested the People's Deputy.

We previously reported that the High Anti-Corruption Court extended until July 4 the investigation period of the criminal proceedings on suspicion of People's Deputy Anatoly Hunko in the appropriation of agricultural products worth UAH 27.3 million from state-owned enterprises that are part of the structure of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences.
