Dnipropetrovsk College Official Suspected of Taking Bribe

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, suspicion was reported against an official who, according to law enforcement officials, promised to help an applicant enroll in college in exchange for a bribe.
This is stated on the website of the regional police.
As investigators found out, the college principal demanded a thousand dollars from the applicant for assistance in enrolling in the educational institution. It was also about help in obtaining a deferment from the draft.
Police officers detained a woman in the administrative building of an educational institution while she was receiving an illegal benefit. She was also informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. If found guilty, the woman could face up to 10 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, as well as confiscation of property.
We will remind, in Odessa, three doctors are suspected of a $4,000 departure scheme.
We also reported that a State Emergency Service official will be tried for bribery in the Ternopil region.
