The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider the appeal of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office against the decision to refuse to grant permission for an in-person investigation against the former Deputy Head of the President's Office Rostyslav Shurma , his brother Oleg, and the former director of PJSC "Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo" Viktor Mitchenko in the case of the embezzlement of UAH 141 million on the "green" tariff.

As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court arrested Shurma, his brother Oleg, and former Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo employee Mitchenko in absentia. Later, a detective from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and a prosecutor from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested permission to conduct an in absentia investigation into these three individuals. However, the court refused to grant the request.

To schedule the consideration of the prosecutor's appeal against the ruling of the investigating judge of the HACC dated May 28, 2026 on the refusal to grant the petition for permission to conduct a special pre-trial investigation against the suspects (Oleg and Rostyslav Shurma, Mitchenko) in an open court session in the premises of the HACC at 09:15 on August 18, 2026
