As a reminder, NABU and SAPO reported suspicions to the former head of the Cherkasy region's appeal court, Volodymyr Babenko. According to the investigation, the former head of the Cherkasy region's appeal court tried to alienate a property worth over UAH 15 million in favor of one of the local private companies. By decision of the local government body, the above-mentioned property was transferred to the court for operational management for possession, use, except for alienation. Despite this, the former head of the court tried to alienate this property to third parties. However, the crime was never completed for reasons beyond his (the former head of the court's) control.
