The High Anti-Corruption Court extended until June 24 the term of office of the former head of the Ternopil Regional Council, Mykhailo Holovko, in the case of false declaration.

As is known, the anti-corruption court released Holovka on personal recognizance. He was given the following obligations: to appear upon first demand; not to leave the territory of the Ternopil region without permission; to report any change in his place of residence and work, and to hand over his foreign passports for safekeeping.

The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested to extend these obligations for another two months. The court extended them and changed the obligation not to leave the territory of Ternopil region to the border of Ukraine.

The petition is granted. The term of office is extended until June 24, 2025.

Earlier, NABU and SAPO reported suspicions of false declarations to the former head of the Ternopil regional council, Holovka. According to the investigation, he did not indicate in his declarations for 2022-2023 an apartment with an area of ​​201.9 sq. m belonging to his mother, which he used together with family members, non-residential premises (parking space, car wash and storage room) belonging to family members, as well as funds in a bank account.
