The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of the former head of the Western Appeal Economic Court, Borys Plotnitsky, until June 24. The NABU and the SAPO suspect him of abuse of influence.

As is known, the anti-corruption court arrested Plotnitsky. An alternative for him was determined to be UAH 30.28 million in bail. These funds were deposited and the suspect was released from custody. Plotnitsky was assigned a number of obligations: to arrive upon first demand; not to leave the Lviv region without permission; to report a change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communicating with suspects and witnesses; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.

The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested to extend his duties for another two months. The court supported the request.

The request of the SAPO prosecutor is to be granted. The term of the duties assigned to the suspect (Plotnitsky – ed.) is to be extended for two months, i.e. until June 24, 2025, but not longer than the term of the pre-trial investigation.

– the decision states.
