SAPO to Send Komarnytskyi Land Case to Court After Oct. 1
After October 1, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will send an indictment against businessman Denys Komarnytsky to court in the context of the land scheme case in Kyiv.
It is until this date that the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court limits the time for the defense to review the investigation materials.
The NABU detective's motion is to be partially granted. To set a deadline for the defense, namely the (nine) suspects, their defense attorneys, and other persons who will acquire the powers of defense attorneys in criminal proceedings, until October 1, 2026 inclusive, to familiarize themselves with the materials of the pre-trial investigation, after which the defense will be deemed to have exercised its right to access them.

NABU and SAPO conducted searches at the home of Denys Komarnytskyi, former co-chair of the Leonid Chernovetskyi Bloc faction in the Kyiv City Council.
After that, NABU and SAPO handed over suspicions to 10 people, including Komarnytsky, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Olenych, Head of the Kyiv City Council Standing Committee on Architecture, Urban Planning and Land Relations Mykhailo Terentyev, and member of this committee Olena Marchenko. According to the investigation, the government officials were engaged in illegal privatization of land for construction. In addition, they tried to take full control of the procedure for making decisions on granting land rights.
