After July 4, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will send an indictment to the court against Anton Grekov, the prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Law Enforcement by the Bodies of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office, for receiving unlawful benefits.

It was until this date that the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court limited the time for the defense to review the investigation materials.

The request of the senior detective of the NABU to establish a deadline for familiarization with the materials of the criminal proceedings shall be partially satisfied. To establish a deadline for the defense and the victim until July 4, 2025 inclusive, to familiarize themselves with the materials of the pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings, after the expiration of which the defense and the victim will be considered to have exercised their right to access them

– the decision states.

As is known, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv arrested Grekov with the alternative of 3 million UAH bail. These funds were deposited and he was given the following obligations: not to leave Cherkasy without permission; to report a change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communicating with the suspect, as well as other witnesses and victims in the proceedings; to hand over his foreign passports for safekeeping.

The court subsequently reduced Grekov's bail to UAH 2.25 million and left him with only two obligations: to report any change in his place of residence and/or work, and to keep his foreign passports in custody. Therefore, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested that these two obligations be extended.

Let us remind you that Anton Grekov is a person involved in the EBK base.
