Court again suspends prosecutor of Cherkasy office

The HIghAnti-Corruption Court extended until April 10 the suspension of Anton Grekov from the position of prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Law Compliance by Bodies Combating Organized Crime of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office.

As is known, the anti-corruption court suspended Grekov from his position. Later, the suspension was extended. Therefore, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office requested that the suspension be extended again for another two months.

The request of the SAPO prosecutor is granted. To extend the term of suspension of the suspect (Grekov - ed.) from the position of prosecutor of the department for supervision of compliance with laws by bodies combating organized crime of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office until April 10, 2025 inclusive.

Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court did not cancel the notice of suspicion handed to Anton Grekov, the head of one of the departments of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office. He is suspected of bribery.
