HACC panel to hear case of ex-Lviv court heads

The High Anti-Corruption Court, with a panel of three judges, will hear criminal proceedings on charges of former chairmen of the Lviv Regional Commercial Court Vasyl Artimovich and Mykhailo Yurkevich, as well as judge of the Western Appeal Commercial Court Iryna Malekh, of abuse of influence and receiving unlawful benefits.
The motion of the accused (Artymovych) for a collegial examination of the criminal proceedings by a court of three judges shall be granted. The consideration of the criminal proceedings on the charges of (Malekh) for committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, (Artymovych) for committing criminal offenses under Part 4 of Article 189, Part 3 of Article 27, Part 4 of Article 368, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and (Yurkevych) for committing criminal offenses under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 4 of Article 368, Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine shall be conducted collegially by a court of three judges.
