HACC Schedules Hearing in Case Against Former SBU Cybersecurity Chief Vitiuk
The High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a preparatory hearing for September 10 in the criminal proceedings against the former director of the cybersecurity department of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ilya Vityuk, for illegal enrichment and false declaration.
To schedule a preparatory court hearing on criminal proceedings on charges of (Vityuk) committing criminal offenses under Article 368-5, Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, at the premises of the High Anti-Corruption Court in the courtroom for September 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court applied a preventive measure in the form of a bail of UAH 9.08 million to the former director of the SSU Cybersecurity Department, Ilya Vityuk.
Ilya Vityuk is a figure in the EBK database.
As a reminder, NABU and SAPO reported suspicions of Ilya Vityuk, former director of the SSU cybersecurity department, in illicit enrichment. According to the investigation, in December 2023, the suspect purchased an apartment for UAH 21.6 million and registered it for his wife. At the same time, according to the contract, its value is UAH 12.8 million.
