Ex-head of NAAS firm gets 7 years in prison

The High Anti-Corruption Court found guilty and sentenced the former acting director of the state enterprise "Red Farmer" from the structure of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences to 7 years and 1 month in prison.

On March 10, 2025, the High Anti-Corruption Court announced a verdict, by which the former acting director of the state enterprise "Chervony Zhemlerob" was sentenced to 7 years in prison. By the court verdict, she was found guilty of committing criminal offenses provided for in Part 2 of Article 15, Part 2 of Article 191, Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and was sentenced to 7 years and 1 month in prison, with deprivation of the right to hold positions related to the performance of organizational, managerial and administrative and economic functions at enterprises in the authorized capitals of which there is a share of state ownership, for a period of 3 years, with confiscation of 1/2 of the property belonging to her
However, the court found her not guilty of organizing the forgery of documents due to the lack of evidence that her actions constituted a criminal offense.
The verdict of the HCJ may be appealed within 30 days to the HCJ Appeals Chamber.
