Court extends Judge Honchar’s obligations until June image

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of Volodymyr Honchar, a judge of the Kropyvnytskyi Court of Appeal, until June 3. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of extortion and receiving illegal benefits.

As is known, the anti-corruption court applied a preventive measure to Judge Honchar in the form of a 1.01 million UAH bail. He was also assigned the following obligations: to appear in court upon each request; to notify the court of a change in his place of residence and work; to refrain from communicating with a number of persons and to hand over his foreign passports. The SAPO prosecutor once again requested to extend these obligations.

To extend the term of the duties assigned to the accused (Honchar). The term of the resolution shall be set until June 3, 2025 inclusive.

We will remind, at the end of February this year, the Supreme Court of Ukraine reduced the bail amount set for Volodymyr Honchar from UAH 1.01 million to UAH 700 thousand.
