Court keeps Shyman in custody, bail unchanged
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left Leonid Shyman, the General Director of the state-owned enterprise Pavlograd Chemical Plant, in custody and did not change the amount of bail of UAH 21.63 million within the framework of new criminal proceedings on the embezzlement of UAH 102.45 million.
As is known, the anti-corruption court extended Shyman's arrest for another two months and left his bail unchanged at UAH 21.63 million. The suspect's defense attorney filed an appeal against this decision.
The decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated 04/07/2026 on the extension of the term of the preventive measure in the form of detention of the suspect (Shyman) in criminal proceedings shall be left unchanged, and the appeal shall be dismissed.
