Court Extends MP Kuzminykh’s House Arrest
The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of 24-hour house arrest of MP Serhiy Kuzminykh until October 20. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of abuse of influence for illegal gain.
As is known, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau detained Kuzminykh for failing to appear at court hearings. Later, the court sent him under 24-hour house arrest and imposed the following obligations on him : to appear at every summons to court; to notify the prosecutor or the court of a change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to hand over his foreign and diplomatic passports for safekeeping; to wear an electronic bracelet. The SAPO prosecutor requested that the house arrest and obligations be extended.
The motion is granted. To extend the preventive measure of the accused in the form of 24-hour house arrest for a period of two months, i.e. until October 20, 2026. To extend the term of the duties imposed on the accused
