Court extends obligations for Zaporizhzhia Regional Council deputy head

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court extended the term of office of the suspended Deputy Chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council until February 9, 2025, Vladyslav Kutsenko . NABU and SAPO suspect him of providing over 650 thousand UAH of illegal benefits to the director of the "Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine".
The court arrested Kutsenko with the alternative of 3 million UAH bail. This money was paid for him and he was released from the pre-trial detention center under the following obligations: to arrive at the first request; not to leave the territory of Ukraine without permission; to report any change in his place of residence and/or place of work; to refrain from communicating with other suspects in these criminal proceedings and witnesses; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.
Later, the bracelet was removed from him and his international passports were returned. Therefore, the SAPO prosecutor again requested that the remaining duties be extended.
The request of the SAPO prosecutor to extend the term of the duties imposed on the suspect (Kutsenko – ed.) is granted. The suspect's term of duties stipulated in Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code is extended until February 9, 2025 inclusive.
Previously, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court extended the term of office of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council deputy Vyacheslav Kolesnikov until January 29, 2025. NABU and SAPO also suspect him of providing more than UAH 650,000 in illegal benefits to the director of the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.
Vyacheslav Kolesnikov and Vladislav Kutsenko are suspects in the EBK base.
