HACC allows in absentia probe into ex-MP Ivaniushchenko
The investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) granted a motion to conduct a special pre-trial investigation into former People's Deputy Yuriy Ivanyushchenko in the case of the seizure of 18 hectares of state land under the Stolichny market for over UAH 160 million.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
The latter is suspected of legalizing illegally obtained land plots on the territory of the Stolichny market. The decision comes into force from the moment of its announcement and is not subject to separate appeal. The full text of the decision will be announced on May 4, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.
As is known, the HACC has extended until September 6 the investigation period of the criminal proceedings in the case of the seizure of 18 hectares of state land under the Stolichny market for over UAH 160 million.

Previously, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office filed a complaint against the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court to refuse to take into custody in absentia former people's deputy from the Party of Regions Yuriy Ivanyushchenko in the case of the seizure of 18 hectares of state land under the Stolichny market for over UAH 160 million.
