HACC reduces bail for Shyman to UAH 21.6M

The High Anti-Corruption Court has left Leonid Shyman, the general director of the state-owned enterprise Pavlograd Chemical Plant, in custody, but reduced the bail amount to UAH 21.63 million within the framework of new criminal proceedings on the embezzlement of UAH 102.45 million.
As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of the General Director of the Pavlohrad Chemical Plant Leonid Shyman, but reduced the amount of bail set as an alternative to arrest to UAH 24.96 million. Later, the defense attorney filed a motion to change the preventive measure.
The defense attorney's motion to change the preventive measure applied to the suspect (Shyman) within the framework of the criminal proceedings is partially granted. Reduce the amount of bail set for the suspect as an alternative preventive measure to 6,500 subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons, which is UAH 21,632,000.

We previously reported that the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left unchanged the decision that did not cancel the notice of suspicion served on Leonid Shyman, the general director of the state-owned enterprise Pavlograd Chemical Plant, in new criminal proceedings.
