The High Anti-Corruption Court has reduced the bail amount set for Sumy Regional Council deputy Magomed Galayev as a preventive measure from UAH 3.02 million to UAH 2.52 million. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of providing an illegal benefit to the head of the Sumy City Military Administration Oleksiy Drozdenko and preparing to embezzle funds.

As is known, the anti-corruption court arrested Galayev until May 24. As an alternative, he was given a bail of UAH 3,028,000. These funds were deposited and the deputy was released from custody. Galayev's defense lawyer asked the court to change the preventive measure in terms of changing the amount of the bail.

Partially satisfy the defense attorney's motion to change the preventive measure in terms of changing the amount of bail paid for the accused (Galayev - ed.). Change the amount of bail for the accused in criminal proceedings from UAH 3,028,000 to UAH 500,000 and set the bail at UAH 2,528,000

– the decision states.

Vladimir Potseluyev and Magomed Galayev are suspects in the EBK base.
