In Odessa, police detained a military Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support for extorting a bribe. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of the Odessa region.

Law enforcement officers detained an employee of the notification department who had access to the credentials of those liable for military service. Investigators found that the serviceman used his official position and suggested that the men on the wanted list "solve this problem."

In particular, for 9 thousand UAH, they offered to remove the person from the wanted list, and for 6 thousand USD, they offered to get a job at a critical infrastructure enterprise, where there was a reservation from mobilization. In case of refusal, the military officer threatened mobilization, and also intimidated that the mobilized person would be immediately sent to the combat zone.

He ordered me to bring copies of documents, photos, and part of the agreed amount to the first meeting. He also noted that the meeting would not take place without the money.

Police detained a military man while accepting part of a bribe for employment – ​​$3,000. He was charged with receiving a bribe to influence a decision (Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The suspect faces up to eight years in prison and confiscation of property.

Earlier, law enforcement officers conducted a large-scale special operation, during which they documented dozens of cases of forging documents to evade mobilization . As a result of the investigative actions, suspicions were declared against 110 servicemen and civilians in various regions of Ukraine.

In addition, a TCP official was detained in the Chernihiv region for influencing the decisions of the MMC.
