HACC seizes phones and tablet of MP Skorokhod

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has seized two mobile phones and a tablet seized from MP Anna Skorokhod during searches at her home. At the same time, the court did not grant a motion to seize her real estate. Commenting on this decision regarding her own gadgets, Skorokhod said that now law enforcement officers should “play Minecraft.” This is reported by Suspilne.
The motions to seize phones and tablets and real estate were considered in two separate sessions. They were held in a "closed format" at the request of National Anti-Corruption Bureau detective Rodion Biryukov "due to the disclosure of personal information."
The People's Representative and her lawyer Oleg Burgela insisted on an open hearing. In particular, in the courtroom, Skorokhod stated that she "has nothing to hide," emphasizing that the selection of a preventive measure for her "was carried out in an open format."
After the court decision was announced, Skorokhod explained in a comment to Suspilny that the HACC had seized gadgets that were seized by NABU during a search of her home.
These are cell phones and a kid's tablet. Well, they were arrested. Well, let them play Minecraft, what can I tell you?
She also said that she would not appeal the decision, but allegedly "asked to return the tablet," which belongs to her child. Regarding the real estate, Skorokhod stated that "it has already been arrested."
In addition, the MP said that NABU does not consent to "open" court hearings in her case.
And I can't defend myself, because it's a secret of the pre-trial investigation. I repeat, I have nothing to hide, I'm exclusively for a public trial... I think that no one needs to be told that I'm telling the truth to their face.
Skorokhod also said that she and her lawyer are waiting for a hearing to appeal the restraining order that was recently imposed on her.
When asked who had paid the bail for her, Skorokhod replied that it was done by a “law firm,” without naming it. However, she noted that she “must return” the money.
We will remind, recently, bail of three million 28 thousand hryvnias was paid for People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod . She was released with an electronic monitoring bracelet.
We previously reported that law enforcement officers exposed a criminal group led by a deputy.
